Today, We will know that how to become a good and active listener OR How to listen to any person with carefully. Then please read all heading and tips for become better active listening .

Why is it important for us to listen actively ?

                  LISTENING IS NOT ONLY HEARING

Hearing and Listening both are entirely different .Hearing is just like a sound(horn) that falls on our eardrums. It can be any noise or sound. Whereas listening is an active process where we get meaning that what do he want to say.

HOW TO LISTEN CAREFULLY AND ACTIVELY

At first , We should listen very actively and carefully to that person who is speaking and we should focus on speaker's talks what is he saying.We need to train yourself to listen ,whatever the topic or information is.We should practice of listening for become good listener.

If we will not listen to people then it will not good manner or habit.

                   We should follow this all steps or tips for become good listener :-

Step 1:- Active listening comes with good practice,determination.Active listening is part of           communication skill .So we should prepare yourself mentally before starting a conversation .

Step 2:- We should always pay full attention to the speaker and acknowledge what they say.Payall       attention to their body language too, because we can know more by speaker"s body language.

Step 3:- We should keep good eye contact with the speaker at all time.We should not pay any     attention to near people side what they are doing just listen to the speaker"s sentence and understand.

Step 4:- We should to show the speaker that we are understanding their points and feelings. We can   say also some words like "yes","ohh","uh huh" whereby speaker will understand that we are listening  him.

Step 5:- Use the words like "great","really","interesting","well done","go on",as this will assure them   that we are listening and interested.

Step 6:- When speaker is speaking then we should not interrupt to speaker talks whereby speaker will  angry that you are not agree to listen.

Step 7:- If we want to ask any question to the speaker then we should wait for end talk of speaker.   But we should keep more patience.

Step 8:- After completely listening ,we should to give a response or feedback and ask any thing   whatever speaker has shared.

             L = Look interested- get interested

        I  = Involve yourself by responding

        S = Stay on target

        T = Test your understanding

        E = Evaluate the message

        N = Neutralise your feelings

     Why is it important to listen

If we will listen to the speaker sentences then we are giving respect him.

It helps us to learn a lot and to improve our knowledge in different areas.

Listening is very important today,because it helps also move up the career ladder.

By listening,we can prove also our speaking ,reading, writing skills.
